Series: Digital Shamans

At a time when the digital and physical worlds are increasingly merging, my works are created as a bridge between both dimensions. The shamans in my series are not only guardians of ancient wisdom, but also mediators between these worlds. They dance and perform rituals, be it in the vibrant urban landscape, on the banks of a sadly polluted river or high above the rooftops where the sun kisses the silhouettes of the cities.

My artistic process begins with deep conversations with an AI, followed by collaboration with the generative designer AI Midjourney. These digital templates are the starting point that inspires and challenges me. The transformation of bright digital colors into the depth and texture of oil paints is an adventure in itself. Each painting is a journey in which I try to capture the emotions and moods of the digital template in my expressive style.

The “Digital Shamans” series is a testimony to my engagement with the balance between tradition and progress. As we move in an increasingly complex digital world, I wonder how we can combine the wisdom of our ancestors with the possibilities of technology. It is my hope that viewers will be inspired by my artwork to reflect on their own connection to nature and technology and to recognize the potential that lies in this relationship.
