The human-AI_collab with the AI Midjourney is located on the intersection of human creativity and artificial intelligence. I explore the possibilities of dynamic feedback loops with my figurative oil paintings to create works that draw inspiration from the past while charting new territory in the contemporary art world.
Die Mensch-KI Kollaboration bewegt sich an den Schnittstellen zur künstlichen Intelligenz. Mit meinen figurativen Ölgemälden erforsche ich die Möglichkeiten dynamischer Rückkopplungs-schleifen, um Werke zu schaffen, die – von der Vergangenheit inspiriert – neue Wege in der zeitgenössischen Kunst beschreiten.
Stroking an invisible Horse
The original painting „Stroking an invisible horse“ looked nothing like this interpretation by the AI Midjourney. It was also in another format, thus leaving the AI a huge field for interpetation, which I tried to match to my vision via prompt commands.
After uploading an image of my original oil painting „Stroking an invisible horse“ (where the horse was actually not visible), the AI Midjournay interpeted the images with the horse visible. The faces in those wonderful digital images remind me a lot of Hieronymos Bosch – whatever the AI is trying to tell us thereby …
Nach dem Hochladen einer Abbildung meines Original Ölgemäldes „Stroking an invisivle horse“ (bei dem das Pferd tatsächlich nicht zu sehen war) interpetierte die AI Midjournay die Bilder mit sichtbarem Pferd. Die Gesichter in diesen wundervollen digitalen Bildern erinnern mich stark an Hieronymos Bosch – was auch im m er die AI uns damit sagen will …
Bubbles
The original painting with the working title „Bubbles“ is actually a work in progress. Playing around with the AI Midjourney however produced wonderful accompolished works that offer more depth and insights than either my human art, nor Midjourney’s solo creations would accomplish.
